==Introduction to the Yoshidaguchi Climbing Route at Mt. Fuji==

This trip chose the Yoshida Route, the most popular of the four major climbing routes of Mount Fuji. First, take a bus to the fifth station, and then hike from the fifth station to the top of the mountain. Please note that the summit location this time is limited to the top of the Yoshida Route. It is not possible to reach the highest peak on the other side (Tsurugidake, 3,776 meters).

【Features of Yoshida Route】

◎ There are many mountain huts and first aid stations along the way, which makes it safer for beginners.

◎ You can enjoy the sunrise (Yulaiguang) at various places along the way.

◎ The entrance to the mountain (the fifth station) is very busy and feels like a tourist spot.

The Yoshida Trail starts from the Fifth Station of Mt. Fuji and joins the Yoshidaguchi Trail at the Sixth Station. The area around the 5th station has rest and accommodation facilities, Komidake Shrine, etc., and the atmosphere is lively and attracts many tourists. At the fifth station, equipment will be changed at Fuji-Q Highland Unjokaku. Since you will take different buses for the outbound and return trips, please leave any unnecessary items in a coin locker or take care of them yourself. We usually gather for departure 30 minutes to 1 hour after arrival, and you can prepare and eat freely during this time before departure.

Mountain House on Mt. Fuji (Short-term Accommodation, Dinner, and Breakfast)

You will stay in one of the following mountain houses. You cannot specify it in advance and will be informed by the tour guide on the day:

◆Hakuunso (8th Station/3,200 meters)

◆Original House (8th Station / 3,250 meters)

◆Fujisan Hotel (8th Station / 3,400 meters)

◆Goraikokan (850 meters/3,450 meters)

The mountain house is a group accommodation type, and quilts or sleeping bags are provided. There is no bathroom, shower or sink. Each hut has a sales department and toilets, and also provides commemorative services such as burning seals (for a fee). There is no changing room, please use the toilet or other places to change clothes. Breakfast boxes are usually provided upon entering the hut.

==Introduction to Mt. Fujinomiya Climbing Routes==

To climb Mount Fuji, the general way is to take a car or bus to the fifth station, then start climbing from the fifth station and head towards the summit. Mount Fuji has four climbing routes and five fifth stations. This trip will start from the higher altitude "Fujinomiya Route". It is relatively close to the highest peak, Kenmine (3,776 meters), from the top of Mount Fujinomiya. The descent route will be determined by the tour guide based on the conditions on the day. You may go down the original Fujinomiya route, or you may take the Gotemba route, pass the Ho-ei volcano, and then return to the Fujinomiya route.

【Features of Fujinomiya Route】

◎ The distance between the climbing and descending routes is the shortest

◎ Start climbing from the 5th station (2,400 meters above sea level)

◎ Ascending and descending the mountain are on the same route, so it is easy to get crowded.

◎ The route is straight, the slope is steep, and it consumes a lot of physical energy

The so-called "Fuji Crater Pilgrimage" (Japanese: お碗巡り) refers to a tour that circles the crater on the top of Mount Fuji. The diameter of the crater is about 780 meters, and one circle is about 3 kilometers, which takes about 90 minutes.
Near the top of the Fujinomiyaguchi mountain is the Okumiya of Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. If you walk a little further from here, you will reach the highest point of Mount Fuji - Tsurugi-dake Peak (elevation 3,776 meters). There is a "Fuji Summit Post Office" next to the Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine (the opening date for 2025 has not yet been determined). In contrast, the summit of Yoshidaguchi is on the opposite side of Jianyue Peak, so if you go from Yoshidaguchi to Jianyue Peak, you need to go around the entire crater.
The "Mount Fuji Loop Trail" that circles the summit of Mount Fuji is scheduled to open after July 10. Until it is open, it will not be possible to tour the crater.
※The crater tour is a paid option at the summit (register on site/pay 1,100 yen)
→Whether the crater tour will be held will be determined by the local guide based on the weather, crowd conditions, and number of participants on the day. (The reservation period is from July 10 to the end of the climbing season)
