- In the morning (7-8 am), the driver will pick you up at the designated location, and then take a 1.5-hour drive to the Yangtze River First Bend Observation Deck in Shangri-La to take photos and take a short break. The Yangtze River rushes down from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the "Roof of the World", and enters Yunnan from Batang County. It runs parallel to the Lancang River and the Nujiang River, and crosses the high mountains and deep valleys of the Hengduan Mountains, forming a magnificent "Three Parallel Rivers" landscape. In Shasongbi Village, Shangri-La County, the river suddenly turns more than 100 degrees to the northeast, forming a rare V-shaped bend, which is known as the "First Bend of the Yangtze River". Arrive at Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area around 10:30, Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the deepest canyons in China. Here we will hike upstream (you can also choose to pay to take the escalator), feel the power of nature, the turbulent water, the roaring water... Tour here for 2-2.5 hours.
- After the tour, around 12:30, we will go to the restaurant to enjoy a Chinese lunch (lunch time: 1 hour). After lunch, you can rest for a while in the car, and our driver will take you back to the hotel to end your pleasant journey.
Please arrive at the pick-up location 10 minutes in advance. You can choose the South Gate or North Gate of the Old Town, or a nearby intersection of your designated hotel as your pick-up location. Please pay attention to the license plate number.
