What to Expect This experience takes place in a traditional Japanese tea room at the host’s private home. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into a serene and authentic tea room, where you can enjoy a cup of tea and Japanese sweets during your private hour. The calming ambiance offers a rare opportunity to relax and appreciate traditional Japanese architecture and hospitality. After one hour of relaxation, the sliding doors (fusuma) will open, leading you to the cooking class. The host will guide you in creating two iconic Japanese dishes: Sushi Rolls (Maki): Create your own custom sushi rolls using fresh ingredients. Handmade Gyoza: Learn how to fold and cook delicious Japanese dumplings.
