A driver guide will take visitors into the heart of the Thrapsano village, where people produce ceramics since thousands years ago. The visitors can see the most important skills required in creating a piece of art pottery. This is your opportunity to see live and chat with some of the best artisans, to see the way they produce and the way they are firing their products in a kiln much like those used in the past to now days.

Start your tour with a visit to the renowned Lyrarakis Winery, one of the oldest and most significant wineries in Crete. Here, you can learn about the winemaking process, explore the vineyards, and sample a variety of wines, including indigenous Cretan grape varieties like Vilana and Kotsifali.
