A first-timer to Venice, or don’t know where to begin your explorations? Over the course of this tour, experience many of the city’s top highlights: see the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square on a guided city walk (please note: Entrance to St. Mark's Basilica is not included.) Plus enjoy a relaxing gondola ride and explore areas of the city that many tour groups miss, from the sestiere of Cannaregio to the Rialto Fish Market.

Continue to the sestiere (district) of Cannaregio, home to some of the city’s hidden gems. Discover the house where Marco Polo once lived, and go to the unique Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli. See a remarkable statue by Verocchio on the Campo San Giovanni and Paolo, where you will also see a variety of typical Venetian architectural styles. Meander through hidden alleyways, and hear tales of the city’s past.
Learn what it is like to live on the island today as you walk to St. Mark’s Square. Admire St. Mark’s Basilica for the square and your guide explains how Venice built a mercantile empire that once spanned the entire Mediterranean. (ticket NOT included)

• Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time for check-in. Out of courtesy to other guests, we’re unable to wait for latecomers. No refunds can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows. • Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers. • Due to the religious nature of St. Mark's Basilica, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc) to put on just before entering St. Mark's. (not included) • During times of high tides, flooding, or heavy rain, the gondola ride may be substituted for another experience. • Appropriate footwear is advised. • Large bags, trolleys and backpacks cannot be accommodated on this tour. • The Rialto Fish Market is closed on Sundays. • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated. • Walks and Devour comply with all local government regulations.
