Udaipur was the capital of the Kingdom of Mewar. This touch of royalty is visible even in the ‘Garden of the Maidens’ that was designed by Rajput King, Maharana Sangram Singh and gifted to his queen when she brought with her an entourage of 48 young women attendants as part of her dowry. Spend a few hours of relaxation in this beautiful garden set along the shores of the Fateh Sagar Lake.
