What distinguishes our offering is the idyllic and historic location (Poje Field), authentic and traditional cuisine (homemade aperitifs and local wines, Hvar platter, traditional main courses, dessert featuring our own extra virgin olive oil from family groves), homemade and home-grown ingredients (extra virgin olive oil, limoncello, brandy, and other local produce), personalized and intimate setting (shared table experience & great company), sensory adventure (taste and scenery amidst olives, grapevine and lavender).
We will host you at our family field called Poje - an idyllic place in the heart of Stari Grad Plain (UNESCO-protected heritage) on the island of Hvar. We want to offer an experience that combines the best traditional food, a unique location, and great company. As you step into the grove, a shared table will wait for the guests with a selection of homemade aperitifs, local wines, and juice, inviting you to taste the essence of the island's beverages, including homemade herbal grappa, sweet wine, grape brandy, and more. The dinner will commence with the Hvar Platter featuring goat cheese aged in our home-grown extra virgin olive oil, salted blue fish, olives, capers, and pickled sea flowers, all drizzled with the family's extra virgin olive oil. Complementing this, our extra virgin olive oil will be presented. A selection of main dishes will be offered. Dive into the Pasta with Tomato Sauce ("Hvar Šalša") and enjoy the Traditional Hvar Octopus Stew or Cuttlefish Black Risotto, depending on the day's freshest catch. The Poje journey will be concluded with Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cake, a rich and moist delicacy with lemons from our family’s village, Dol.
