The Pirogovo Open Air Museum - private tour by car
Pirogovo is the biggest open-air museum in Europe with a size of 133,5 ha. It represents a typical Ukrainian village with the khatas, where peasants used to live. You can enter these buildings and see the original handmade pottery and tableware. You will see khatas from the whole Ukraine. Pyrohovo Open-Air Museum
This is a tour to Museum Pirogovo that is classified as an “open-air museum” and is located on the outskirts of Kyiv. The territory of Pirogovo is a hilly terrain area of 150 hectares, of which there are more than 300 exhibits collected throughout the country. Pirogovo museum will give you a chance to stroll the quiet streets of the unique Ukrainian village, which presents architectural forms and life all over Ukraine. The tourists will have a unique opportunity to see authentic Ukrainian khatas (ancient places, where peasants live) and learn about Ukrainian folk art and crafts.
