This unforgettable experience with Picos de Aventura allows you to swim alongside wild dolphins in their natural habitat, guided by our expert marine biologists and trained skippers. We begin the tour at our headquarters in the Marina of Ponta Delgada, where you’ll receive a thorough briefing about safety, responsible interaction with the animals, and the species we may encounter. Our team is deeply committed to ethical wildlife experiences, ensuring both your safety and the well-being of the dolphins. Once at sea aboard our Zodiac-style speedboat, we search for dolphin pods using lookout points on land and the expertise of our crew. When conditions are right, and dolphins are calm and curious, small groups of participants enter the water with mask and snorkel for a respectful and awe-inspiring encounter. You'll swim in turns, floating at the surface as dolphins glide past—sometimes playful, sometimes simply curious. It’s a peaceful and humbling experience that connects you to the ocean in a truly special way.
