From your hotel we travel to Stonehenge, where we visit the Stones* themselves and wonder at the enormity of the task of transporting these stones and placing them so precisely. You will have the opportunity to work out the many theories about why the stones are placed where they are and their purpose over time. *NB We are not able to get access into the Stones Inner Circle

We will stop for lunch a a village pub on the way to Windsor
Windsor Castle
At Windsor Castle we will spend time exploring the longest continually occupied castle in the world. We tour the State Apartments, stroll around the Castle precinct and see the beautiful St George's chapel. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the tour.
