Stunning views of the National Park and the neighbouring islands can be seen from atop the Citadel or anywhere on the parade ground. This magnificent fort of British architecture was built during the 18th & 19th centuries by African Slaves.
Romney Manor
Set in extensive and meticulously maintained grounds, this 12 acre botanical paradise is a wonder to behold. Samuel Jefferson, the great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the USA, was the original owner of the splendid estate. A photographer's dream! When you visit, be sure to witness the local artists transform Sea Island Cotton into stunning Batik fabrics, one of the most sought after products available for purchase in a lovely West Indian Great House setting.
