Snorkeling in Caño Island from uvita

The tour starts at our office in Uvita, where you can refresh yourself with snacks such as empanadas, coffee or orange juice. After a short briefing from the certified tour guide, we will walk to the national park, which is about 300 meters away. The trip will now start at Playa Uvita. After an around 1 hour boat tour (time depending on weather and water conditions) we reach the protected area of Caño Island. During two snorkeling spots, we explore the surrounding reefs with their diverse wildlife. You may spot turtles, rip sharks, plenty of various fish and many more. On the beautiful beach, where you also have the opportunity to enjoy the view from the nearby lookout point, you have time to relax and enjoy your time. There you have also an access to bathrooms. On the boat trip back to Playa Uvita, you will once again have the opportunity to try and spot whales (depending on the season), dolphins and various birds. Now you can look forward to a typical Costa Rican lunch, which is served buffet-style at the beautiful Playa Uvita. After strengthening yourself, you are free to stay in the national park or accompany us back to our office, where our tour ends.
