Enjoy your port time in Skagway with a full-day shore excursion by mini-bus into the Yukon, Canada's westernmost territory. Explore some of North America's most stunning wilderness, and stop at Caribou Crossing for lunch.   • Children 15 or younger must bring a Passport (or if USA or Canadian citizen can bring an original/certified birth certificate-no copies). Children 16 and older and all adults must bring original valid Passport. If one or both parents are not traveling with their child, a notarized letter of authorization from the absent parent(s) is necessary to enter Canada
  • At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: Cruise Ship name. If not on a cruise ship please contact the operator for meeting instructions.
  • Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-free option for lunch is available, Driver will take orders at start of the tour
  • Pick up location: Look for a representative holding a FRONTIER EXCURSIONS sign. Please be 15 minutes early. Please bring your Passports. For Broadway and Ore dock, meet off the pier where the dock meets land just outside the security gate next to a large parking area. For the Railroad dock, there are two docking positions. For ships tendering to the small boat harbor, walk up the ramp after disembarking the tender and look to your left for Zone B meeting area. If you are taking a shuttle bus off the pier from your ship, once you get off the shuttle bus look to your right for Zone B. Zone B is near Skagway Fish Co.
  • Not scooter accessible. No battery operated equipment can be loaded onto buses. Collapsible wheelchairs or Walkers can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark. Passenger must be able to walk some and boarding bus requires a few steps. YOU MUST INFORM OPERATOR IF ARE BRINGING A COLLAPSIBLE WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER.

DO NOT GO TO A DIFFERENT SHIP PIER THAN YOUR OWN. PLEASE BRING YOUR PASSPORTS. Bring all documents needed for border crossing-Passports (and USA and/or Canada Visas if required for your citizenship). No copies of documents accepted. Alternatively, you may meet at our office downtown at 3rd and Broadway in the Golden North Hotel Lobby. Look for the Large Golden Dome on the top of the building. Please check in with the office staff so we know you are meeting there instead of your ship pier.

Please check in with the office staff so we know you are meeting there instead of your ship pier.  Full-Day Tour of the Yukon by mini-bus includes views of spectacular mountains, coastal rainforest, sub-alpine tundra and northern Boreal forest as you travel the Klondike highway into the Yukon. Historic landmarks include Moore Creek Bridge, 3292 foot White Pass Summit, Welcome to Alaska sign at US/Canada border, Tormented Valley, Tutshi (too-shy) Lake, Windy Arm of Tagish Lake, Welcome to the Yukon Sign, Bove Island overlook, Carcross village, Carcross “World’s Smallest" Desert and gorgeous green Emerald Lake. We will watch for wildlife along the route including bears. Klondike Gold Rush stories and history are narrated by your guide. For lunch stop we go to Wild Adventure Yukon for BBQ chicken with sides (vegetarian/vegan/gluten free option of lentil curry available) and have time to enjoy the taxidermy Museum of Yukon Natural History exhibits. The Husky Sled Dog camp is also onsite and included is a chance to see the dogs and puppies (either Husky or rescue pups) and Petting Farm with friendly animals. Tour duration approx. 6.5-7 hours, 140 miles roundtrip. (Tour duration can vary due to road construction, border wait times, and wildlife sightings)
