We are Portugal Stories and we are committed to tell the Stories of our History in a fair, attractive and inclusive way. By merging history and sightseeing, we believe we created an amazing way to get to know Sintra!
-We start by visiting the village historical center and talk about our King D. Manuel I. Afterwards, we try the famous pastries!
-After we go to Regaleira Estate and get to know about its creator, António Carvalho Monteiro. Here you will explore freely its amazing gardens full of caves, waterfalls and secret tunnels that hide the secrets of free masonry
-We will then head up the mountain and feel the forest (where we can have a small picnic) and we will stop on an amazing viewpoint to Pena Palace, an icon of the Romantic age
-We then head to "Cabo da Roca", the westernmost point of Europe, feel the Ocean and its cliffs!
-We will come back to Lisbon by the Portuguese "Riviera" (something not to miss while in Lisbon!) and leave you with all the Stories we shared!
We will start by visiting the old town, we will talk about the National Palace and have an introduction to Sintra in the context of Portugal's history.
We will stop to taste the amazing cheesecake's of "Piriquita" and learn about its story between the couple who started it and the King of Portugal, D. Carlos !
On the way to Quinta da Regaleira we will pass on the oldest Hotel of the Iberic Peninsula while talking about the romantic movement and one of its most iconic characters, Lord Byron, who was a guest in the XVIII.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
