9:30 AM – 10:10 AM: Located within the Royal Palace grounds, the Silver Pagoda derives its name from its floor, which features 5,329 silver tiles. Admire gold and jeweled Buddha statues and the Angkor Wat-style Bell Tower while learning about the Khmer kings’ rich history.
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Visit the former Security Prison 21 (S-21), which serves as a somber reminder of the Khmer Rouge era. This site details the horrific events and stories of prisoners who suffered under the Pol Pot regime.
