Explore the four fortifications of the old town and discover the intriguing legends surrounding the name of the Liars' Bridge. Stroll through the three main medieval squares and pick your favourite. Optionally, you can ascend the tower of the Evangelical Church for breath-taking views of the city and the majestic Carpathian Mountains.

Miercurea Sibiului

After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, embark on a scenic vineyard experience. Enjoy a tasting of three distinct wine varieties, providing the perfect opportunity to savour and appreciate the unique flavours of Transylvanian wines.

Calnic Fortress

As we continue our journey from Sibiu, we’ll delve into the rich history of the Transylvanian Saxons with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Calnic Fortified Church. Discover the fascinating story of these Western European settlers, their arrival in Transylvania and their significant role in shaping the region. Gain insights into their unique way of life, social customs, and impressive defence systems. In the evening, we’ll return to Cluj, bringing with us the rich history, captivating flavours and timeless atmosphere of medieval Transylvania.
