Gyeongbokgung Palace

경복궁 Gyeongbokgung (Palace) - Was constructed in 1394 by Yi Seong Gye, who founded Joseon dynasty. A fire destroyed the palace during the Japanese invasion. It was reconstructed during the reign of King Gojong in 1868. A grand and gorgeous hall called Geunjeongjeon is in this palace where the Kings' enthronement ceremonies and state ceremonies were performed. There also is a reception hall called Gyeonghwoiru where the government officials received foreign representatives. It is a beautiful and elegant place with almost every kinds of flowers bloom year round.

Kwangjang Market

광장시장 - Gwangjang traditional market Located in Jongno 5-ga, Yeji-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, is Seoul's largest traditional market and Korea's first traditional trading market. The company's operator, Gwangjang Co., Ltd., was established in 1904 and is also one of the oldest companies in Korea.

찜질방 Jjimjilbangs - Are bathhouses in South Korea which gained popularity in the 1990s. They are separated by gender and typically have hot tubs, showers, Korean traditional kiln saunas, and massage tables. Jjimjil is derived from the words meaning heating. In other areas of the building or on other floors there are unisex areas, usually with a snack bar, ondol-heated floor for lounging and sleeping, wide-screen TVs, exercise rooms, ice rooms, heated salt rooms, PC bang, noraebang, and sleeping quarters with bunk beds or sleeping mats. Many of the sleeping rooms have themes or elements to them. Usually jjimjilbangs will have various rooms with temperatures to suit guests' preferred relaxing temperatures. Walls can be decorated with woods, minerals, crystals, stones, and metals to make the ambient mood and smell more natural. The elements used have traditional Korean medicinal purposes in the rooms.
