    The Alpine Route spans peaks over 3,000 meters in the Northern Alps, covering 37.2 kilometers with a height difference up to 1,975 meters. It lies within Chubu Sanzan National Park, starting from Tateyama Station in Toyama Prefecture to Ogizawa Station in Nagano Prefecture's Omachi City. Along the way, travelers pass numerous scenic spots, offering easy access to Tateyama Kurobe's stunning natural landscapes shrouded in clouds.

In the sacred Tateyama, they are valued by the locals as they have long been regarded as "messengers of the gods".
