First, stop at Kilmahog in the heart of the Highlands to stretch your legs before journeying through the breathtaking scenery of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount. Then, take in the haunting atmosphere of Glencoe, one of Scotland's most famous glens and the site of the Clan MacDonald massacre of 1692. After a lunch break in the Fort William area (at your own expense), continue on to the Great Glen, passing beneath the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, before arriving at Urquhart Castle. After exploring the historic castle, head up to the Clansman Hotel for an hour of free time to take in the stunning views of Loch Ness. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of the Loch Ness monster, affectionately known as "Nessie."
