(Subject to Option Inclusions)We use very classic swords(katana) which were made 300-450 years ago. Naturally some of them had been used by samurais in the batte field actually. It is not too much to say that by touching and feeling our real swords, you can take a time trip to a couple of hundred years ago of the samurai's world. Our experience course is THE BEST in terms of its contents and price-wise. Plus you will surely be impressed by splended demonstration of our instructor's sharp cutting techniques. Iai Katanaba is a facility where you can experience Iai Katana using a real sword! When you come to Asakusa, I recommend that you touch a sword and seriously challenge Makiwara slashing! Feel the real swords that you have seen in movies and period dramas, and think about the past history. You should be surprised that the actual sword is heavier than you imagined. Open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 to 17:00. Reservation required
