Itinerary

Colaba

Colaba (20 minutes) You will be picked up from fixed point / hotel leave for sightseeing. Lively Colaba is famous for its Parsi community. Mumbai would not be the same without its Zoroastrian population. Not only would the flavor of the town become bland, much of its history would also be misplaced without them.

Admission Ticket Included

St. Thomas Cathedral Mumbai

St. Thomas Cathedral (20 minutes) St. Thomas Cathedral is the first Anglican Church to have been built in Mumbai in 1718. Mumbai has an active Christian community that is very much a part of the city. The Cathedral was built on the Neo-Classical and Neo-Gothic styles of architecture and has a soothing white façade. The interiors mirror the interiors of the St. Thomas Cathedral in Ireland.

Admission Ticket Included

Gate of Mercy Synagogue (15 minutes) Two Jewish communities- the Baghdadi Jews and the Bene-Israel - have also been living in this city for generations and have given it lots of important landmarks. Drive to one of the oldest synagogues in Mumbai, the Gate of Mercy Synagogue. Built in 1796 by a Bene Israeli, the synagogue was shifted to its present location in 1860. It still maintains active services for its congregation of members.
