The Gold Museum of the Bank of the Republic of Colombia is a public institution whose purpose is the acquisition, conservation and exhibition of pieces of goldsmithing and pottery from indigenous cultures of the pre-Columbian period of present-day Colombia, it has more than 30,000 pieces made of gold, 20,000 lithic objects, ceramics, stones and textiles belonging to the Quimbaya, Calima, Tairona, Zenú, Muisca, Tolima, Tumaco cultures, among others. This museum is located on the eastern side of Santander Park, in the historic center of Bogotá near the TransMilenio Museo del Oro station.
