We will visit the 13th-century Cathedral, a striking example of Gothic architecture, the intriguing Bones Chapel, a poignant reminder of human fragility, and the magnificent Roman Temple, also known as the Temple of Diana, a well-preserved structure from the 1st century AD that stands as a symbol of the city's Roman heritage. As we walk through the city, you'll marvel at how Évora seamlessly blends its ancient heritage with the lively atmosphere of university life. After lunch, we will journey to the enchanting village of Monsaraz, a picturesque medieval village in the Alentejo region. Known for its stunning views, rich history, and well-preserved architecture, Monsaraz offers a unique glimpse into Portugal's past. The village’s layout has remained largely unchanged for centuries, offering a glimpse into medieval life. Wander through narrow streets and marvel at the ancient fortifications that have stood the test of time.
