Besakih Temple
Pura Besakih temple is the biggest temple complex and the most important temple for Balinese people located in the slope of Agung Volcano it's about 50km from denpasar. It was built in 800 a.c by Indian Priest Rsi Merkandeya came to bali and he decided to meditate and felt strong energy come from Agung Volcano and then he built small temple called Basukihan and now day very famous with Besakih Temple and this temple dedicated to the God Shiwa as Supreme God in Bali
