Capture the magic of the Adriatic – caves, coves, and coastlines – all in one perfect day
Tucked into the eastern cliffs of Biševo Island in the Adriatic Sea, the Blue Cave — or Modra špilja — is one of Croatia’s most mesmerizing natural wonders. Accessible only by small boat through a narrow sea entrance, the cave reveals a surreal and almost otherworldly sight once inside. Around midday, when the angle of the sun is just right, sunlight streams through an underwater opening, bouncing off the white sandy seabed and flooding the cave with a radiant, iridescent blue light. The water glows a deep aquamarine, and anything submerged appears silver, as if touched by moonlight.
Komiža is a charming coastal town located on the western side of the island of Vis in Croatia. It's known for its rich maritime heritage, traditional fishing culture, and scenic beauty.
We'll take a refreshing one-hour swim break in a stunning bay near Komiža, on the beautiful island of Vis.
