Although half as famous outside of Greece compared to ouzo it is actually much more popular among locals. Greeks adore tsipouro and consider it as a part of their culture. Is very common to be asked by someone to go for a ‘tsipouraki’ which actually is an invitation to have a break and spend time eating and talking.
