Hop on a FULL SUSPENSION electric mountain bike to discover Rome’s greenest region in an easy, efficient and original way. Ride along the original cobblestones of via Appia Antica, the road that had a pivotal role in what was later to become the Roman Empire. Visit historic landmarks such as the Aurelian walls and the Villa of Massenzio, forgetting the traffic of the city center. Ride along the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella and the ancient Roman water lines of the Parco degli Acquedotti.
During the tour there will be a food break with local specialities.
We'll stop by the remains of Rome's largest baths to introduce the history of the Appian Way.
Admire one of the Gates of the imperial city and the imposing Arch of Drusus. You can also take a view of the Appian Way from the top of the Museum of the Roman Walls.
Stroll through the grounds of the villa of the last Emperor who spent his whole life in the Eternal City.
