Rebuilt in the 15th century, it’s known for its peaceful setting and stone architecture. After exploring the site, visit the monastery’s wine cellar to taste award-winning wines like Vranac and Žilavka (€3 per glass). Learn about traditional methods and the monastery’s international wine-making success.

Located along the Trebišnjica River, the old town of Trebinje is one of the most charming spots in Herzegovina. With its Ottoman-era architecture, stone houses, and narrow streets, it preserves the authentic spirit of the past. Stroll through the Old Bazaar, visit the lively green market, and explore landmarks like the 16th-century Arslanagić Bridge and the Church of the Holy Transfiguration. Perched on Crkvina Hill above Trebinje, Hercegovačka Gračanica is a modern replica of the Gračanica Monastery in Kosovo, built in 2000 to honor poet Jovan Dučić, who is buried here. Beyond its spiritual importance, this site offers the best panoramic view of Trebinje and the Trebišnjica River, making it a must-visit for culture and photography lovers alike.
