Rothenburg ob der Tauber
After 8am pick up from your hotel at Munich, we’ll be driving northwest for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the main destination of your day trip - Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Our guide will take you around for 1 hour on a walking tour, covering all the highlights of this magnificent medieval town - in our opinion, the prettiest town in Germany. After the walking tour, you will have approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes free time for yourself, so you can go around and explore sigts of your liking and preference like climbing the stairs up to the Town hall tower for an amazing view, seeing the church of St. James, checking out the museum of crime or visiting the popular Christmas store and musem by Kāthe Wohlfahrt. In a meantime you can sit for your lunch and we will certainly recommend the best place. ;-)
Dinkelsbuhl
Approximately at 2pm we’ll be departing from Rothenburg and heading to our second destination - Dinkelsbühl, which we’ll be reaching in about 40 minutes.. Our guide will take you around on a 30 minutes walking tour to show you all the beautiful places that this town has to offer and later you’ll have still a time to do your own exploration or just sit for a nice cup of coffee with piece of bavarian pastry ;-) We’ll be departing from Dinkelsbühl at 4pm, planning to be in Munich at 6pm. Please note that this is a private tour, so we’re very flexible and you can change the whole itinerary to your liking - for example to have more time in Rothenburg and less in Dinkelsbühl, skipping on a walking tour to have more time for a shopping :-) etc. Simply it is your day and we’ll try to accommodate all your needs and wishes ;-)
