Among the hills of Valdobbiadene, set in the rock, stands the Molinetto della Croda, a corner of history and magic in the Lierza valley. This ancient mill of the seventeenth century, built several times, rests on the "croda", the bare rock of the mountain, giving a fairytale setting. Here time seems to have stopped: the wheel turns slowly, the water flows crystal clear and the walls tell stories of millers and farmers. Walking between stone and wood, you can breathe the authentic atmosphere of the Marca Trevigiana. A perfect stop to admire the landscape, take some pictures and be enchanted by this hidden gem. And maybe, with a glass of Prosecco in hand, toast to the beauty of simple things!
Ristorante da Brun is located in an enchanting position on the Trevigiani hills, on the Prosecco Road between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. It became in 2004 the first Italian village protected by the FAI. Place often remembered in the poems of A. Zanzotto, and in a recent publication defines the Borgo as a “postcard sent by the gods”. Magic place, always characterized by the presence of terraced vineyards along steep slopes. The environmental and cultural heritage of this area is indicated for protection and enhancement. And it is at the top of a hill that you will find the Restaurant from where you can enjoy an exceptional view, while you can comfortably eat good grilled meats in a familiar and informal atmosphere, under the beautiful pergola that covers the entire courtyard of a typical farmhouse.
Societa Agricola Vigne Matte Srl
The history of the **Vigne Matte** winery was born in 1998 from the passion of an entrepreneur for Rolle and wine. The Rui family expands the properties by purchasing the **Casale Rosso**, recognizable on top of the hill. To enhance Rolle, a small picturesque village, the **Vigne Matte** winery was created, built entirely inside the hill to integrate with the landscape and ensure optimal conditions for storing wine. The name recalls the ancient vine strains that, with strong roots, resist even in the driest periods, giving excellent fruits. Thanks to passion, technology and quality, the first successes came: in 2005 and 2006 the winery obtained the ** Gold Medal and the Gran Medaglia d’Oro** at Vinitaly, followed by numerous awards. *"Producing wine is not just a job, it is a vocation that must be possessed and preserved to obtain the best fruits."*
