Pompeii a "Unesco" heritage site is the first stop of the tour, here you will meet your local guide for the visit of the excavations. Hear from your guide the history and stories of what happened during the famous eruption of Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD. It caused the destruction of the city of Pompeii and a vast area of the current Vesuvian area, such as the cities of Herculaneum. Your guide also, will help you discover some aspects of daily life in the Roman imperial era. Walking along the ancient streets, you will visit the most evocative places of the ancient city, such as the Forum, the Baths, La Casa dei Vetti, with its beautiful frescoes, and you will be able to admire the houses, shops and public buildings brought to light by the work of archaeologists.

The visit includes: Piazza Augusteo, Piazza del Pebliscito, Maschio Angioino Castle (exterior), Galleria Umberto I, Quartieri Spagnoli, Via Toledo (where the alley of love is located), tasting of Neapolitan coffee and fried pizza. Upon request (optional) it is possible to visit the Cathedral where there are the relics of San Gennaro. Customs and Traditions: Naples celebrates festivals with fervor, the processions wind through narrow alleys, carrying saints' statues. The city pauses for San Gennaro, its patron saint.
