Cross river gorges, marvel at the surrounding mountain ranges, and learn more about the region's history as you admire its spectacular landscape.
Take advantage of the convenient shuttle service that takes you from Queenstown to the Rail Trail. Start your adventure at Clyde, where you will be fitted with bicycle safety gear and equipment and transferred to the Ida Valley. Enjoy some snacks before setting off for your journey.
Cross the beautiful Poolburn Gorge and head north towards the Omakau Commercial Hotel for a wonderful lunch meal. Complimentary pickups to Clyde from Chatto Creek and Alexandra are also available per request for those that prefer to take it easy at the end of the day.
