Following your tour, you will enjoy afternoon tea at our brand-new restaurant, Ochre. Ochre showcases the very best seasonal British ingredients, blending international flavors and modern European cooking. You’ll be served afternoon tea, including a delicious range of savoury sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, seasonal pastries, and coffee and tea. After your tour, head to the stylish Ochre restaurant to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea for two. Tuck into a selection of dainty sandwiches, seasonal pastries, cakes, and fresh scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. This will be served with either barista-made coffee or your choice of Good & Proper Tea.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
The meeting point is at Sainsbury Wing, the National Gallery’s new main entrance located on Trafalgar Square (WC2N 5DN). After passing security and entering the Sainsbury Wing Foyer, customers should make their way up the stairs located on the right, up to Level 2. The meeting point will be located on level 2 on the left, across from the audio desk, where they will meet their guide at the designated tour meeting point marked with a Guided Tour Meeting Point sign. The guide can be identifiable by wearing a National Gallery Official Tour Guide yellow badge. After the tour, head to the Ochre restaurant in the east part of the Gallery, where the Afternoon Tea will be served.
