This is a relaxing tour where you get information about our butterfly park, our own woodcarving business mostly run by people of the Maroon culture and pottery business mostly run by Indigenous. You will get to see one of our famous recreational resorts and have a swim in the refreshing water of Colakreek.

Neotropical Butterfly Park
From Paramaribo, we drive to Lelydorp to visit the Neotropical Butterfly Park. At the park, we will be guided and informed about the different butterfly species and you will witness the whole process from caterpillar to butterfly. You will also have a visit inside the insect museum.
Para District
After the visit to the butterfly park you will have a stop at a place where different types of products are made of woodcarvings. You will be informed about the different types of woods they use for carving and have an opportunity to buy some souvenirs to bring back home.
The next stop is Colakreek. Here we will serve lunch and you will have time to relax and swim. The guide will also inform you more about this place.
