Singapore Stories: Pathways and Detours in Art: This exhibition is an act of storytelling. It is built upon the journeys undertaken by artists as they sought to make sense of the shifting social conditions in and beyond Singapore since the 19th century through art. --Special Exhibition--

City of Others: Asian Artists in Paris, 1920s–1940s is a groundbreaking exhibition that compares the experiences of Asian artists in Paris in a lively and dynamic time period. It features works by major Asian artists like Foujita Tsuguharu, Georgette Chen, Le Pho, Liu Kang, Xu Beihong, and Sanyu alongside lesser-known and hidden figures. As one of many migrant groups in Paris in this dynamic period, these artists encountered cultural “others” and were perceived as “others” themselves, leading to exchanges of aesthetics and ideas between cultures.
