The Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are a stunning collection of ancient rock-cut caves located on Elephanta Island, just 11 km off the coast of Mumbai. Dating back to the 5th-7th centuries, these caves showcase intricate carvings and sculptures dedicated to Hindu deities, particularly Lord Shiva.
