Depart from San Francisco and explore California’s Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and unwind on wine-tasting tours!
— What You Can Expect —
Depart from Fisherman’s Wharf and head over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Russian River region for our Woods and Wine Tour! You will first visit Korbel Winery for a full tasting of California Champagne and views of their historic landscape and buildings. You can also visit their on-site deli and pick up lunch or snacks.
After that tasting, we will travel to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Here you can see the Colonel Armstrong Redwoods Tree that is over 1,000 years old! You can stay for approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hour based on the on site arrangement of the tour guide. If the time is available, you may have chances to downtown Guerneville to wander among this quaint American town.
Lastly, you will pay a visit to Russian River Vineyards, where you will drink overlooking the vines. Here they produce award-winning wines which they take pride on, but also regard their farmers highly and keep a strong connection to their products.
After all this, it is time to wrap up this tour. We will take you back to San Francisco through Sebastopol, where you will see a different view of California countryside.
