Itinerary

Lake Kawaguchiko

Lake Kawaguchi is known as the shining pearl of the five lakes of Fuji, its intricate shoreline offers numerous vantage points to admire the majestic Mt. Fuji. Ten thousand years ago, a spectacular eruption of Mount Fuji created this stunning picture of lake and mountain. In 2013, Lake Kawaguchi was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site. Stroll along its shores with Mt. Fuji in the background, a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere, and enjoy the beautiful reflection of Mt. Fuji in the clear water.

Oishi Park

Oishi Park, nature's palette, is famous for its vibrant seasonal flower displays. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" features a colorful array of blooms throughout the year. From cherry blossoms in spring to lavender in summer, and from vibrant autumn leaves to the soft snow and reeds of winter, the seasons change, and the scenery is breathtaking. You can capture beauty photos with Lake Kawaguchi, seasonal flowers, and the majestic Mt. Fuji in the background. ( Note: During the 2025 Maple Season, visit the Maple Corridor by Lake Kawaguchi instead of Oishi Park. )

On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji. ( Note: During the 2025 Maple Season, visit the Maple Corridor by Lake Kawaguchi instead of Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center. )
