Arrival in Melnik and exploring the town After a short drive we will arrive in Melnik and begin our walk along its only street, lined with whitewashed houses with tiled roofs. You will feel the atmosphere of the past as you stroll along the cobbled streets of this historic town.
We will visit Kordopulov House, the largest residential building from the Bulgarian National Revival period in the Balkans. Here you will see Venetian stained glass windows, carved ceilings and a huge wine cellar carved into the rock. We will also taste local wines in the basement of Kordopulov's house. You will be able to taste the famous Melnik wines made from the unique grape variety "Shiroka Melnishka Loza".
