Chichen Itza was once one of the most powerful and influential Mayan cities in the Yucatán Peninsula. Here, you'll be captivated by historical treasures and architectural marvels, including the majestic Kukulkan Pyramid.

Next, we’ll immerse ourselves in the natural wonder that is Ik Kil Cenote, often regarded as a natural masterpiece. This cenote is famous for its striking beauty, with tree roots cascading down into the crystal-clear waters, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.

Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant.

Lastly, we’ll visit Izamal, known as the "City of Three Cultures" for its blend of pre-Hispanic, colonial, and contemporary influences.

Chichen Itza

Step into the heart of the ancient Maya civilization with a 2-hour guided tour of Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accompanied by a certified guide, you'll explore the most iconic structures of this archaeological site, including the majestic Temple of Kukulcán (El Castillo), the Great Ball Court, El Templo de los Guerreros, and the Sacred Cenote. Your guide will share fascinating stories and historical insights into Maya astronomy, architecture, religion, and daily life—uncovering the brilliance behind this ancient city’s design and purpose. This two-hour experience offers the perfect balance of cultural depth and time efficiency, ideal for travelers eager to explore Yucatán's most famous landmark.

Cenote Ik kil

Enjoy a magical stop at Cenote Ik Kil, one of Yucatán’s most iconic natural swimming spots, known for its deep blue waters and lush hanging vines that cascade into the sinkhole from above. During this 1.5-hour visit, you'll have plenty of time to swim, take photos, and relax in this natural wonder carved into limestone. The cenote is open-air and about 26 meters (85 feet) below ground level, with a carved stone staircase leading you down to the water. Life jackets are included for your safety and comfort, and lockers are available to store your personal belongings while you enjoy the experience worry-free.

Izamal

Enjoy a scenic drive to Izamal, a charming town known as the "Yellow City." Stop 1: Convento de San Antonio de Padua Visit this stunning colonial convent built on a Mayan pyramid. Explore the peaceful courtyard, gardens, and small museum. Stop 2: Mayan Ruins of Izamal Climb the Kinich Kakmó pyramid, one of the largest in Mexico, and enjoy panoramic views of the town. Learn about Izamal’s history as a major Mayan city. Stop 3: Izamal Letters Take a photo with the iconic "IZAMAL" letters in the town’s central square, with the convent and colorful streets as the perfect backdrop. Return to Merida: Head back to Merida in the late afternoon, wrapping up your enriching day.

Chichen Itza entrance is free for Mexicans on sundays if bring their ID (INE). If for any reason you are a no show or decide not to go the same day, this tour cannot be rescheduled, you would have to buy again. The minimum number of people to operate this tour is 4 people.
