Departing from Santiago, we'll explore this coastal gem, starting with a picturesque coastal walk through Cachagua and Zapallar. Discover the richness of flora, fauna, and protected wildlife in this area.
Later, we'll take a boat to the Natural Monument of Cachagua Island, home to colonies of Humboldt penguins (The penguins migrate to this island between November and March. This population represents 6% of the world's total.). Observe these adorable birds along with dolphins, sea lions, seabirds, and other species inhabiting the central coast of Chile.

We will start the hike to reach an overlook of Cerro de la Cruz. Its flora is mainly composed of coastal vegetation, such as bushes and seaweed. Regarding fauna, the island is a refuge for seabirds like seagulls and pelicans, as well as a spotting point for sea lions. The strategic location of Cerro La Cruz makes it a natural attraction for birdwatchers and marine explorers
