You will continue listening to stories and anecdotes about Marcus Aurelius while admiring the marble Column ercted to commemorate the Emperor. Composed of 27 blocks of Carrara marble and around 30 metres high, the Marcus Aurelius Column is adorned by a spiral relief representing Marcus Aurelius’s German Wars.
You will gaze at the wonderful Pantheon in the moonlight and you will visit one of the most famous squares in Rome: Piazza Navona with its attractive fountains and beautiful buildings. Built by the Pamphili family, this square houses the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini, topped by the Obelisk of Domitiano, as well as the Moor Fountain by Giacomo della Porta, the Church of Saint Agnes, and the Pamphili Palace among other important buildings.
