Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
An interpretation of geometrical colonnades carved into the Cliffside. Get to know the temple's history and the life of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's real first female ruler. Take a stroll through the courtyards and terraces and admire the statues and hieroglyphs that decorate them.
Valley of the Kings
The tombs at the site contained the remains of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, including Ramses II and Tutankhamun. There were plenty of valuable materials stocked inside the tombs that a ruler would require in the next world. The tombs' interiors have been well-preserved for the most part.
Colossi of Memnon
They are only remnants of a complete mortuary temple erected by Amenhotep III. They are two huge stone statues. Quartzite sandstone blocks were located in Cairo and transported 700 km to Luxor to be used as statue bases.
