There are many ways to experience the famous Louvre. Choose your favorite!
You can explore at your own pace with a timed-entry ticket after taking a guided walking tour around the exterior and gardens of the Louvre. On this tour option, you’ll learn what the Louvre was before it was the world’s largest art museum, and you’ll see sights like the Tuileries Gardens, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, the Cour Carrée, and more. It’s a great intro to your self-guided visit inside the museum.
If you prefer to go with a guide, opt for our guided group tour inside the Louvre. We also offer a small group tour option with no more than six guests, where you'll get even more dedicated time with your guide, who can customize the tour to your interests. Your expert guide will make sure you not only see the best works — the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, the Crown Jewels, and more — they’ll share the history and stories behind the artwork to enrich your experience and make your visit truly memorable.
Group tour upto 25 people: 2-hour guided tour of the Louvre with a licensed, expert guide for a max group size of 25 people.
You can experience the Louvre three ways: (1) with a private guide inside the museum, (2) on a guided tour of the amazing parks and grounds surrounding the Louvre, OR (3) both: a guided outdoor group tour followed by a private tour inside the museum. All three options include entry tickets and recommendations for navigating this incredible museum.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
Our meeting point is the statue of Louis XIV on horseback in front of the Louvre Pyramid entrance. The nearest address is 10 Place du Carrousel. The closest Metro station is Palais Royal Musee du Louvre on Line 1 and 7. Your guide will be holding an orange sign that says “ExperienceFirst.” Please be reminded that if you have selected the 'Outdoor Tour + Entry' experience, this does not include a guided tour inside the Louvre Museum. It includes a guided tour of the external areas and the gardens, and a timed entry ticket for you to enjoy the Louvre Museum as a self-guided experience.
