Ketchikan Zodiac Adventure
Board your inflatable zodiac boats right in downtown Ketchikan! See Ketchikan from the water and avoid the crowds. Follow your guide and explore the Inside Passage of Southeast Alaska. Most tours take in views of Historic Creek Street, the Totem Poles at Saxman Native Village, and cruise the Tongass Narrows searching for bald eagles, seals and sea lions and often humpback whales or sometimes pods of Orca!
We've got you covered with all new gear! This excursion starts out by getting you outfitted in Bibs, Jackets, Boots, Gloves & Dry Bags provided for the adventure. Then we load up and run through a safety talk before launching out on the protected Pacific waterways.
This is a self driving excursion on the water. Up to 4 guests may be in each vessel. If you are a couple you may be paired with another couple on the tour. We provide the opportunity for our groups to have up to 2 guests per boat to have time to drive on the tour if desired. Must be 21+ to drive.

Creek Street
Most tours include a stop in the harbor downtown Ketchikan with views of Creek Street, Ketchikan's historic downtown red light district featuring beautiful colored homes and shops up on pilings along the active salmon spawning stream and the origin of those iconic Ketchikan photos you've seen online.
Saxman Native Village
Most tours have time for a stop in front of the Saxman Native Village Totem Row where your guide can point out multiple authentic, native Tlingit Totem Poles and share their stories.
Tongass National Forest
While cruising the coastline in your zodiac boats, you'll be surrounded by the dense green rainforest of the Tongass and the mountains falling into the Ocean of Alaskas Inside Passage.

Additional Information
After disembarking your cruise ship downtown, please proceed to the shelter at Cruise Berth 3. The green roof shelter is on the dock next to the Red "Visitors Information/Restrooms" sign and Sockeye Sam's Store. (NOTE: this is not the berth 2 Visitors Center). The walk is approximately 2-6 minutes depending on which pier you are docked. Our driver will be present 15 minutes before all departures holding a YELLOW SIGN that says "KETCHIKAN ZODIAC ADVENTURE." ****If you are docking at Ward Cove (Norwegian Cruises + Others) the shuttle buses will drop you off at cruise berth 4. It's about a 6 minute walk from berth 4 to berth 3. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes.
