Archaeological Site of Olympia
The sanctuary of Olympia extends over a bewitching landscape lying at the feet of the Kronius Hill. This made it an ideal location for the Olympic Games which were held every four years to honour Zeus. Once you are there, you will visit the temple of Zeus which housed one of the seven wonders of the world and the temple of Hera where the Olympic torch is lit. Exploration in Olympia site will be on your own (Licensed guide within Olympia site is not included in the tour price and is available upon request with additional fee - In case it is needed please contact us prior the booking)
Archaeological Museum of Olympia
The Archaeological Museum displays world known works of ancient art and exhibits from the Classical Period, the famous pediments from the temple of Zeus, Nike of Paionios and Hermes of Praxiteles.
Klio's Honey Farm
Just a breath away from the museum and the ruins in Olympia, you can meet Klio and her mother on her farm. Klio will welcome you with a platter of seasonal fruits, fresh juice and coffee, into a garden filled with fruit trees and vegetables.
