Kera Eleousa Monastery
Hidden among pine trees, this tranquil nunnery dates back to the 14th century. Its serene courtyard, aged frescoes, and flower-filled balconies offer a moment of peaceful reflection and a glance into Cretan Orthodox devotion. If you listen closely, the wind sometimes sounds like chanting.
