Itinerary

Lagoa do Fogo

The adventure begins at Lombadas River, one of the island's secret spots. From there, you'll embark on a 3 km hike to the lake. This adventurous route takes you through one of the island's most iconic paths, surrounded by endemic vegetation and trees. Keep an eye out for the natural habitats of local birds, bunnies, and seagull nests. Given the island's reputation for experiencing four seasons in a day, fog and rain may add to the unique experience. At the lakeside, our guide will treat you to local cheeses, hams, freshly baked bread, and regional drinks. To complete the journey, we'll return via the main trail back to the car.
