A day tour of Soweto township offers you the chance to experience the heart and soul of a busy city within a city. Learn the history culture and the vibrant lifestyle of Soweto. Soweto was created in the 1930s, with Orlando the first township established. In the 1950s, more black people were relocated there from black spots in the inner city- black neighbourhoods which the apartheid government had reserved for whites. Soweto's growth was phenomenal - but unplanned.

Orlando Power station is a decommissioned coal-fired power station in Soweto, The power station was commissioned at the end of the second world war and served Johannesburg for over 50years. Now home of adventures, bungee jumping , straightjacket bungee, paintball, scad freefall and rock climbing.
Hector Pietorson museum is a large museum located in Orlando West, Soweto two blocks away from where Hector Pieterson was shot and killed 16 June 1976.
