You can rent a golf cart and drive around for hours (which most visitors do), but you won't know what you are looking at. If you take a tour guide with you to show you and your group the island it is so much more fun! We know the history and all the amazing things to see here on Kelleys Island and we can help you remember your adventure.
Our experienced guides will share this island treasure with you and your party. These grooves are said to be the biggest area of exposed glacial grooving in North America.
We will explore some of the ruins of the limestone quarry making days of the late 1800's and early 1900's. View the beautiful beach and the vistas from the north bay area of Kelleys Island. Then we will explore the Alvar habitat on the North shore, discovering glacial erratics and fossils
While we drive from the Glacial grooves and through and around the State Park, we will also be traveling around dome of the island. The tour guide will share some of the history of the houses and island during travel time as well, to and from the history museum.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
